J.A.C.K. Contracting Services was founded in September, 2005. The founders have extensive experiences working full time in the sewer industry. It was a labor intensive industry, with long hours and hard work, when the founders began their journey. But with the advent of high-technology came a brighter future for sewer workers and the industry in general. The modern equipment and techniques that ensued made the work more precise and the labor less intensive, saving customers both time and money.
Our founders saw the opportunities that accompanied these industry innovations and set out to deliver the promise they held for the laborers and customers. They established J.A.C.K. Contracting Service to utilize technology to assist in solving problems intrinsic to the underground construction industry.
The company employs a team of full-time, union laborers who possess excellent safety records and are fully trained in the operation of our equipment.
J.A.C.K. Contracting Services is a certified Disadvantaged Business Enterprise with the Illinois Dept of Transportation and the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District; the company is a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) with the City of Chicago.
Our president, Cindy Gustafson, serves as Board Member of the Federation of Women Contractors, an Executive Board Member of the Underground Contractor’s Association, and a Board Member of the Salt Creek Chapter of the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers.
